SHAKYGROUND is a software tool designed to provide the earthquakes effects estimation in urban, industrial areas and cities.
It provides the user a friendly environment allowing the simulation of strong ground motion by means of synthetic simulation of acceleration seismograms and the estimation of seismic load in a given area.

SEVENPAR is a tool for the calculation of highly exact transformation parameters for the Spatial Helmert and Molodensky Transformation, which make possible precise coordinate transformations from one reference system into another. The determined transformation parameters can be entered directly into suitable transformation software, e.g. TRANSDAT Coordinate Transformations, or into the calculation software of GPS receivers to do exact coordinate transformations. The seven or three transformation parameters are computed with a set of individual identical points. Those are points with known coordinates in both reference systems (geodetic datum). Cartesian coordinates, geographical coordinates or UTM coordinates with or wihtout ellipsoidal height using the ellipsoid dimensions are suitable. Identical measuring points of higher order can be usually inquired or referred by the official institutions for measurement. The necessary ellipsoid half-axes and flattenings are available in the program for the selection from lists. The coordinates of the identical points are tested intensively on outliers and deviations by different statistic procedures. The quality of the computed parameters is documented by a residual matrix and by the computation of the middle, maximum and root mean square (RMS) deviations. The seven parameters of the Spatial Helmert Transformation are calculated in the three most usual standards Coordinate Frame Rotation, Position Vector Transformation and European Standard ISO 19111. The three parameters for Molodenky parameter sets are calculated using the Standard Molodensky Transformation.The program has user-selectable interfaces in English, Spanish, French, Portugeese and German language and comes with extensive bi-language online help. It can be run on most common networks and it is possible to use Terminal Services on WINDOWS Servers. The client installations are done automatically.

TOPOWIN is a state-wide register of the German Topographic Cartographies, the German Basic Cartography and of localities with geo references in different coordinate systems. It is also a topographic information system. In the division of planning and execution of economical and scientific projects frequently topographic documents are used. The program TOPOWIN makes information available of the official topographic cartographies and the German Basic Cartography from the entire national territory in suitable graphic views. It accomplishes different coordinate transformations and inquiries. It calculates the corner coordinates of the norm sheet lines of the catographies TK25, TK50, TK100 and TKÜ200 in Gauss-Krueger, UTM and geographic coordinates. The program was developed under co-operation of the land surveying authorities of many German Federal States. For the first time in the previous version TOPO (for DOS) and later in TOPOWIN state-wide topographic information were arranged for the data technical evaluation. The program is for consulting engineers, planning authorities and users of topographic maps a useful and versatile tool. The topographical maps of different standards, required for a project, can be determined by the entering of known parameters or by the direct selection from overview graphics and from sorted lists. By the investigation of topographical records on the basis of known places, a data base with more then 105.000 places and residential districts is available. The program TOPOWIN calculates with Gauss Krueger coordinates and Geographic Coordinates refering to the Potsdam Datum (Bessel ellipsoid with central point Rauenberg). It also works with UTM coordinates and UTMRef coordinates in the NATO standard, which refer to the datum ETRS89 (GRS80 / WGS84, geocentric).

Lucy’s Globe is a multilingual globe and a geography puzzle. It gives you the possibility to improve your geographical knowledge and at the same time to learn the corresponding vocabulary not only in English but also in foreign languages. And you do this while you are playing, because when you select one of the puzzle modes, the globe transforms to a states puzzle: All the countries take the same color and all the labels are hidden. At the same time, a list with the states or the capitals of states appear in the chosen order: surface of the states, population, density of population, alphabetical o random. After this, the task consists in selecting the names of states o capitals in the list and in clicking the corresponding states on the globe.
Some states are so tiny that they cannot be clicked easily. For this reason you can use a magnification glass. But the real problem are not the tiny states from which you know the position but the ones for which you do not know where they are. For example, if you don’t know where Singapore is, you have no other choice than to select the table with the states (or the list with the labels) which allows to find Singapore. Once you found it, you can use the magnification glass to magnify it and then you can click it.
The infobox gives you the basic data about a clicked country: surface, population, density of population. With the table of states you can put the countries in one of different orders: name, surface, population, density of population, continent… All the labels on the globe can be found and the globe turns so that the label comes in the middle. Groups of states as the EU, the Arab League… can be emphasized. With Lucy’s Globe you can also enter you own labels, add groups of states, add cities…
With the shareware version only a part of the states is used in the puzzle modes.free download
